| Abstract | In recent years swift development of electronic management took place in Ukraine, including the area of ecology and natural resources. Open database processing in area of environmental protection is the important factor of effective realization of state’s interests for legal representation function in court by prosecutors. The purpose of the article is to outline the current state of e-government in the field of ecology and natural resources, to identify the main sources of information on the availability of grounds for the use of the prosecutor’s representative powers, as well as to develop appropriate proposals for improving the legislation on environmental informational support. Information technology applying corresponds to public and local authority obligation to provide free access to environmental information. The article clarifies the features of access to ecological information as to public information about environmental protection. A legal definition “ecological information” is investigated; the types of ecological information are exposed. Essence of concept “ecological information right” and its key features are found out. The right implementation mechanism that is introduced in national legislation of Ukraine was determined. Environmental information support prospects are exposed. Public prosecutor representative activity peculiarities in area of environmental protection are considered. The list of information sources concerning determination of grounds availability to apply representative authority is defined. Theoretical and legal analysis of the legal categories “ecological information” and “environmental information support” was conducted and a conclusion was done about a necessity to perfect of the legal adjusting of the environmental information support. The author’s definition of legal category “environmental information support” is stated and the necessity to make appropriate legislative. Withal, the research can also serve as basis for further scientific developments of the chosen subject. |
